SHEEP

Within the area, we have both Dall and Fannin Sheep. The Fannin Sheep are officially recognized as Stone Sheep by the B&C. Fannin Sheep vary in color from a light gray to very dark stone. Sheep hunts are done at elevations of 4000 - 7000 feet. Success rate is approximately 70% with an average size of 36 inch. A legal ram must be full curl or 8 years of age.

We do not hunt Dall and Fannin Sheep within the same hunting season.
